“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the life-giving Spirit in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.”

Romans 8:1-2 (KJV)

Hello and good morning,

Kicking off on the theme Healing and Forgiveness, we start with the subtopic: Guilt, God does not condemn me. I love the way Message version interprets this verse and that is going to be the only explanation provided. Please do not just read this, but also chew on it and digest it. God bless:

“With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.” Romans 8:1 (MSG)

  1. An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto
a colleague who was conducting a little research on this.
And he actually bought me dinner simply because I discovered it for him…

lol. So let me reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah,
thanx for spending the time to discuss this subject here on your blog.

  2. With any version of the Scripture, the Person that still decodes and reveals the hidden treasures of a Bible verse is still the ‘HOLY SPIRIT’. Do you have His indwelling, He is looking and begging for a place to dwell. From Kenny’s Message version quotation of Romans 8:1; ‘… THOSE who enter INTO Christ’s… no longer have to live under… black cloud. A new power (Holy Spirit) is in operation’. To be off the black cloud (sin and condemnation) you must be in the white cloud (peace) and have the power to destroy the black cloud. He calls you home pal. Peace!
